Bill,there is another startup FastLine, which is owned by Celitc House and NN which has very good technology currently on trials, including Bell Canada. I know that one of the reasons NN is in Pronto( in addition to ATM core) is voice,TV and Video-3dSL(iMigic TV NN's affiliate is also involved). As I said ALA's DSLAMs for sure can not do TV and Voice. I think in mulitmedia over phone wire NN has a nice lead,solid contracst,lots of trials and they inaugurated 3dSL on SuperCom 99.
