MessageMedia Teams with RadicalMail to Deliver Streaming Multimedia E-mails - Monday January 10

Agreement gives MessageMedia the capability to add integrated audio and video functionality to its product offerings, expand marketers' options

MessageMedia, a leading provider of e-mail marketing and customer relationship management services, announced today that it has entered into a partnership with RadicalMail to add the company's streaming technology to its e-mail marketing campaigns. RadicalMail's patent-pending technology delivers streaming audio and video directly into the body of an e-mail without requiring the recipient to launch a web browser, download or install any executable files, or have any preinstalled media players or plug-ins. RadicalMail's advanced technology also enables interactivity, giving marketers the capability to conduct e-commerce transactions in the message body.

''This announcement highlights MessageMedia's commitment to offering clients the most advanced e-mail technology solutions available,'' said Larry Jones, president and CEO of MessageMedia. ''RadicalMail's technology is changing the face of e-mail from a static messaging medium to one that's dynamic and interactive in nature, helping marketers reach customers in exciting new ways.''

RadicalMail uses Java(TM) technology to stream audio and video content directly into the body of the e-mail. The Java-enabled message is extremely small in size, so there are no long download times and recipients seamlessly experience the rich content within seconds of opening their e-mail. The audio and video content is cached and delivered via RadicalMail's global network of servers. RadicalMail's technology works optimally in an HTML-ready client.

''As a leader and pioneer in the e-mail marketing space, MessageMedia continues to set the standard,'' said RadicalMail's CEO John Henderson. ''We're excited that they share our vision and have chosen to integrate our technology into their product offerings.''

About RadicalMail

RadicalMail's rich media adds 2k to the e-mail's file size and the remaining content streams in from its global network of servers, ensuring that valued customers seamlessly ''experience'' the message within seconds, regardless of their bandwidth constraints. RadicalMail adds value to the campaigns of ad agencies, e-mail deployment companies, and permission e-mail list brokers.

Accelerating1to1 Innovators Announced, Enterprises to Vote for the Best 1to1 Software

STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Bringing order to the chaotic and rapidly growing world of software that enables 1to1 relationships, Accelerating1to1 today launches a free service that enables enterprises to compare their experiences with the most innovative 1to1 software vendors. The company has selected 34 vendors as ''Accelerating1to1 Innovators.''

''Enterprises are utterly confused by the overlapping claims vendors are making, and it has been difficult to know what each software application actually does (Recall 'Last', #reply-12578775),'' says Bruce Kasanoff, CEO of Accelerating1to1. ''Our new Web survey allows the enterprises that use this software to compare their results and thus make more informed purchase decisions.''

There are more than 450 software firms that claim to enable 1to1 relationships, but the firm is limiting its surveys to customers of the Accelerating1to1 Innovators. The list is subject to change at any time, based on the companies' performances and the responses of each vendor's customers.

Kasanoff explains that, ''We consider negative survey results to weigh against a company's right to be included in this select group, in the same manner that a lack of votes by a vendor's customers suggests weak or neutral feelings about the firm's capabilities. We will continue to evaluate other vendors and plan to add more names to the list.''

Software users can take the Web-based survey in five minutes or less, by visiting accelerating.com. Users who complete the survey each quarter get free access to Accelerating1to1's vendor rankings, an important benefit for professionals who stake their career success on selecting innovative software for their enterprise.

Vendors were selected based on the company's longstanding experience in 1to1 initiatives.

The Accelerating1to1 Innovators are:
