Terry, i actually believe that some of the big gold shorts are trying to quietly reduce their exposure. i don't know when exactly gold will start wave 3 up, but i know it's going to be a powerful move. IF gold spikes down to 275 once more enough bearish sentiment should be established for the launch. remember, the European CB's have no further selling or leasing to announce...the 300 tons from the Dutch CB announced a few weeks back means the ECB quota for sales is full. in SA, production continues to decline to multi year lows while physical demand remains brisk. imo the last avenues for the gold leasing scam have been exhausted (Kuwait, Jordan...LOL!). one piece of good news and it will be take-off time.

whats the history here ? does gold tend to follow the base metals up or have a parallel run ?
