Well done - I don't think I have lost too much selling half early but it's a crap shoot. The few real winners that took off over a longer period are matched against a lot of short term momentum trades.

But now I don't touch my core shares even after they split. The idea is to build up share numbers through splits over time.

I have made about 200% in three years, that's about 45% compounded or so. Getting there. That includes my learning curve year too.
