JC has posted this response to the KX133 concerns that I had posted:

BTW, for whomever it was who was wondering at SI: That AMD Zone has not yet put up benchmarks of the KX133 has nothing to do with its performance, I assure you of that.

I hope he has already seen the numbers to be so sure. At any rate, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and take it as more good news.

Pravin.

Cirruslvr,

<Kumar Upgrades Clown Company

rd.yahoo.com*http://chkpt.zdn...

He seems 100% sure about Gateway/AMD.

What happened to the "CLOWN COMPANY" Ashok???

He was still his normal self -

"But Kumar, a long-time AMD critic, couldn't completely change his stripes.

"However, long-term the company's execution record or lack thereof and an inability to maintain a competitive roadmap against Intel should limit the price excursions beyond the stated levels," Kumar cautioned." >

This is not exactly an upgrade in my book. Seems to me like this guy is covering his butt more than anything else.

He has earnings for the quarter at 5c. For someone who is from this industry I am underwhelmed by Kumar's lack of semiconductor economics.

Chuck

P.S.: Does this guy's comments remind anyone of Paul?
