Yes. I like to watch PBS also and the History channel. I did watch McCain's life story there in a documentary. I think he had an incident in FLA but don't want to say it was with a plane. It was so long ago. But I do understand that he was almost last in his graduating class in college whereas Bush has been a pretty good student. If you read the newspapers or see the journalists asking him questions, which not even they know before looking it up, you would not think so. gg.

I watched America at the turn of the century the other day. Very interesting. They showed how people left the country side around that time to try their luck in the big cities.

The same program showed the biggest coal mine accident ever in Utah and how 1 family lost 5 sons in that disaster. Those people did not worry about making or losing money in the stock market then. On a day like today I am debating if I should go and work in a coal mine. gg.

Maybe the correction in the high techs will be petering out here also.
Globex looks a bit better.

They are doing the same thing in Japan as here. Looking for shortlived alternatives to high techs. Some biotechs may bring nice returns.
