Agree.. Doing this is challenging and rewarding. The results speak for it self and going all out on a limb or go for broke has never been my style. I stay with some positions a bit too long because of my tendency to 'all or nothing' but I do hedge my situation by being diversified, although you could question that since all my posItions last few years have been in techs... In any case, here is part of my thinking for this year. Part of a PM to a friend on the thread on January 1st...

"This is the year for trading I think.. Last year was OK but this year looks dicey with nasdaq at 4k+.. Will have to be cautious. I think you will have to split your stock between momentum with growth (meaning riskier plays, higher multiples) and value with growth (meaning beaten down stuff beginning to recover now that y2k is out of the way)...

I plan to stay in techs, broadband related, wireless, software, internet infrastructure and ecommerce plays which are emerging, undiscovered (if there is such a thing) and still reasonable multiples (I like to sleep at night)."

FWIW.... Let's have this conversion at the end of the year and see how it turns out....
