I am not so sure about cable b/c only about 20% houses have access to TV over cable, the rest is air.
Nobody is building cable infrastructure in EU for internet access if you have wireless(likeLMDS) or ADLS.
US and Canada is a different story.
I am treveling to EU every year.

What is your expertise in that area of technology for saying that Nortel made a "useless but fashionable acquisition?" Do you think that Nortel would spend all of that money on something useless but fashionable? Correct me if I am wrong, but Nortel, while off of its all time high is still at $87 13/16, and NN is at $22 3/8.
