Jim:
I continue to appreciate your amazing TA
and good humor. Do you think volume seems
lighter today so far and is that a positive
sign that maybe the selling is easing?
Didn't the market correct in similar fashion
prior to the last employment report and then
rally on the news?
Stu

Barton Biggs has gotten it wrong for 2 years in several markets, not just the stock market. Those who followed his Interest Rate or Japanese Yen calls in 1998-99 got carried out in body bags. I respect Biggs but believe his set of skills is not applicable at major inflection points such as a change in technology takes over society, (ie, the advent of the railroad, the industrial revolution, the radio, the TV, the internet). I believe Biggs means well however, his analysis seems applicable to a static world. Right now the world is a dynamic place. Only those who are willing to learn and adapt to new ways are prospering.
