Canada government sells no gold in December

OTTAWA, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Canada's central bank did not sell any gold in December, leaving gold holdings at 1.8 million ounces, the Finance Department said on Thursday.

Canada's gold holdings stood at US$524 million on Dec. 31, down from US$526 million at the end of November. The valuation is based on the Dec. 30 London p.m. gold fix of US$290.25 per ounce -- $1.10 an ounce lower than the previous month.

The Canadian government has a policy of gradually selling off its gold reserves and replacing them with interest-bearing instruments.

<<"The trend is your friend".>>

Even when "the trend" is based in near pure evil?
Then the next question, if one is willing to play in a manipulated market, when will be the correct time to make "the turn"???
