Thanks, it was an error...and boy did they screw up. It showed the buy at $225...he had doubled his holdings, and it showed the new shares and the new total. He sold the shares he thought he just bought, which was half the shares it showed he had. He thought he made a quick trade for a $50 gain. Later in the day, he got an alert saying the trade was a mistake...but the worst part is, when he sold the shares he thought he had, and it showed he had, he really sold the only shares he had, and now does not have any. He is pissed.....he is trying to get e-trade to make ammends....we'll see how it goes.
