Thank you. Very good points. I am still on the sideline (for now), I hate loosing money. I would feel a lot better if the service was priced at 60 cents per minute to end-users.

I am just rambling here and don't know what I am talking about. I am in no position to second guess management's pricing choices (I trust they know what's best for them). Bernard's reputation is simply outstanding.

I also don't like the valuation at $10 billion (with lots of investors clueless about the LP setup, share count, market cap.). $10 billion is a very big cap for hopes of lots of subs in 2000.

I love its technology (CDMA + LEO + ground switching) and management/partners, but I don't like the $10 billion market cap. For $10 billion, you can, for example, buy one of these:

quote.yahoo.com
quote.yahoo.com
quote.yahoo.com

Or *three* Qualcomms at Oct-1998 prices! (when it already had its rock solid IPR position)

When long a stock, I always ask myself: what would I do if the stock goes down 50% on some hiccup? And if the answer is not "buy a lot more", then I should not own it in the first place.

GSTRF is too speculative for me given my lack of insight.

Again, I admit on being clueless about this business model and its future. Sorry for being a party pooh-pooh today.
