Another glich--one can change a Metastock file to ASCII by using the WOW export format, then import it with WOW and be able to chart the file--BUT, QP2 wont update it as it doesn't recognize WOW's ASCII format. The only difference I can see is that the WOW ASCII version has an extra column for "open interest". Can't delete this column, so can't tell if this is why or not. Open interest is meaningless for stocks, in fact every cell has the same figure, a -32081. Just lazy and sloppy WOW programing that needlessly takes up disc space. Shouldn't be that great a problem to use the open interest column for options or futures only and not stocks.

Nevertheless, WOW will read QP2 ASCII format OK--just have to edit some records to add .00 to any whole number in the first two dates.
