wily,
i wouldn't rely too heavily on a sustained pullback to 7. You say there is *some* short selling. methinks you understate a wee tad. there are a lot of areas within the realm of KVI that have the potential to produce strong, surprising, positive news and even barring that type of event; now until the time frame of the earnings release is an apparent window of opportunity that i would be seeking to take advantage of were i short kera (i am not). a gradual withdrawal of the short interest would maintain the price at current or slightly higher levels.
The upswing in institutional ownership also can be interpreted as positively supporting this proposition.
i am not saying there WON'T be another run by the short faction, but i suspect it will be more of a holding action than a charge.

all just mho.
