The sector continues to show weakness and hasn't had the degree of selling needed to cause them to snap back just yet. AMZN has been playing around with the support level in the mid-upper 60s that I mentioned yesterday. It is now trading toward the lows of the day and it is very possible that it will move through this level to the next and probably more substantial resistance at 62-64. I may buy when it reaches that level or hold off and wait for it to crash momentarily bellow that. The Amazon hype machine is trying valiantly to muster support for the stock but the recent press releases about sector and category sales have failed to have a positive effect. most investors expected huge Christmas sales but aren't happy to hear that profits (lower losses) didn't go along with it. That says to me that a reversal of the downtrend is not yet at hand.

Hi Robert, I am in Detroit. ISLD could be a good play as you suggest. Lets see how much damage is down to tech first. It could be a mild flu as many expect - or it could be some ugly form of hemmoragic fever (where you bleed to death from every pore as your flesh turns to jelly). Oh my, that is a little too visual even by my low standards -- yuk :)
