The reason is that the typical handset screen is to the 3G screens as, say, an old DOS screen is to a SVGA screen. With HDR you will get on handheld more than you currently can get with DSL, and I don't mean in terms of memory, but in terms of refresh, allowing real time video. And that bandwidth can be used not only to refresh the screen, but to operate other appliances in your home/car/roaming neighborhood.
