It arrived this afternoon UPS. The DSL modem is Efficient Networks/Alcatel SpeedStream4060. Tiny and simple (about 6 inches by 8 inches, 4 ounces maybe, kinda like a zip drive w/legs on one side to stand vertically) and nice design. Installation guide looks nice and straightforward. Lots of filters. These have to be placed on every jack and prevent data 'noise' from entering the phone handset. Very simple M/F jack units with some type of impedance barrel inline on the jack wires.

Will install this evening, and let you guys know.

Interestingly, as CNBC just pointed out, sounds like the LU story suggests they couldn't keep up with demand...kinda like GTW. Sounds like LU suggests they still may make their year numbers with strength in the second half. Maybe it won't be so bad.

Good time for ALA to pre-announce good news! Anyone out there ALA IR?
