RESEARCH ALERT - Lucent price target raised to $95
NEW YORK, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers on Thursday said it had raised the price target for Lucent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:LU - news) to $95 from $90.

-- Calendar 2001 revenues are estimated at $54.9 billion, compared to $45.3 billion for 2000.

-- A 2001 earnings per share estimate was set at $1.87. EPS estimate for 2000 remains at $1.53.

-- Shares of Lucent were down 1-5/8 at 71 in trade on the New York Stock Exchange.

I should of hedged my positions but I didn't. Can only laugh it off and try again tomorrow...Like you, I haven't sold a stock at a loss yet this year...that is bad in this case though. I will hold QCOM and CMGI until they recover which shouldn't take long once the market decides to turn back upwards.

pity the dude who bought it Monday morning for 90 bucks and now less than one week, it is back to 60 ... need the stock to go up 50% just to break even ...
