Yaacov, Lehman's numbers may not be far off on the year. 17% of 38+ billion is close to 45 billion. LU estimates 1.44-1.50 now, but has beaten every quarter until now. a surprise on the upside in the remaining quarters puts LU back near or at 1.53. The trouble is that McGinnm did generalize about this quarter before and really should have said "y2k will limit deployment of networks worldwide causing us to defer expected revenues and earnings to the remaining 3 quarters of fiscal2000". We could have taken our hit and gotten on with it.
