This whole area is very interesting and certainly something the average person would not realize about "online trading".
I've only been using Preferred Trade for this week so I don't have much direct access experience. They use an "Auto-Routing" that utilizes several methods including ISLD to route your orders. I think I posted asking how traders managed to enter orders so quickly (have not had any responses although would love to hear from some experienced traders out there). Even with the direct access by the time I get filled I'm at the end of the line and the price move (if small move of a point or less) has occurred and I'm the last one holding the potatoe.

Alan posted that he saw buy-through on turns which I believe must be a response to the same trouble I have which may result from not being fast enough to see when an order should be entered and then by the time I see it it's too late.

If anyone wants to take a shot at explaining this to me I'm listening. Thanks
