It was pretty obvious from the 13 period RSI on the 5 minute bar. It's an old filter I've been using for years that works pretty well on the indices. I've written it up about 3 times on SI, the last time was on the Daytraders thread I think. It actually works really well on intraday tops and bottoms. I use it to confirm that I am not buying into a false rally, or selling into a false bottom. If you want me to outline it, let me know.
