Allin Announces Additional Contract for B-to-B E-Commerce Solution

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Allin Corporation (Nasdaq: ALLN - news) through its subsidiary Allin Digital Imaging (www.allindigital.com) announced that it has signed an additional contract for its Portraits Online service prior to its release on January 7th at the Senior Photographers International trade show in St. Petersburg, FL. The contract with Garden State Color Corp. of Hammonton, New Jersey represents access to over 800 additional portrait studios.

As previously announced, this business to business E-Commerce solution, developed and deployed by Allin, will allow images taken by commercial photographers with traditional film to be viewed digitally in-studio and on the Internet. Using Allin's solution, studio clients will submit film to participating labs to be scanned and transmitted to the studio's Portraits Online interactive sales station via the Internet. The presentation to the consumer can then be made on the sales station in lieu of or in conjunction with the printing of proofs.

There has been an increase in demand by studios for ``proofless' selling solutions as consumers have begun to take advantage of advances in technology to make unauthorized copies of portrait proofs. Portraits Online also allows the consumer to access and order additional portraits via the World Wide Web. For a per image fee, Allin will store and display the photographic images at its e-commerce site on the World Wide Web for downloading to the studios and for consumer access and reorders.

``We are pleased that Garden State was excited enough about our product to join the initial rollout at the SPI show,' stated John Troutwine, president of Allin Digital Imaging. ``The addition of Garden State adds to an excellent base of studios on which to concentrate and also enhances the ability of the labs who are offering our service to attract additional clients.'

Matt Ingemi of Garden State commented, ``We have researched the various E-commerce solutions and believe that Allin's solution will be a tremendous answer for our clients. We wanted to get onboard early as we feel this solution provides us with a competitive advantage. The industry is clearly moving to digital and having an Internet solution is going to be a must.'

Allin Digital Imaging is a full-service digital imaging systems integrator dedicated to the needs of the professional portrait studio, providing its clients with professional system sales, consumables, system installation, training, and technical support.

Allin Corporation is a solutions-oriented information technology consulting company that teams with businesses to help them transform the promise of the Internet into practical business realities through five interrelated Solution Areas: IT Infrastructure, Business Operations, Knowledge Management, E-Business and Interactive Media. Allin delivers these services through the trade names Allin Consulting, Allin Interactive, and Allin Digital Imaging.

Garden State Color Corp., based in Hammonton, New Jersey, is a full service portrait and wedding processing lab. I can see Barbs confusion.
You don't take bids.
You hit bids and take offers.
