In a press release Thursday, Thomson Multimedia said its new RCA F38310 and Proscan PS38000 38-inch widescreen HDTVs will cost $3,999. The company also unveiled its Proscan PS34000 34-inch widescreen HDTV, which costs $3,499. The company plans to release the RCA F38310 in mid-2000 and the Proscan PS34000 in late 2000. The company plans to release the suggested retail prices for the two models later this year. The company also unveiled its Proscan PSP4200 42-inch widescreen, 4-inch-deep plasma display digital television, which includes s-video, composite, component and red/green/blue inputs and the PSHD105 HDTV set-top receiver and an 18-inch by 24-inch elliptical satellite antenna. The receivers, which feature RGB-VGA interface, RF, A/V, s-video and optical audio outputs and telco modem connectors, cost $649. The company also unveiled rear-projection digital monitors, including the RCA 52-inch MM52100 and 61-inch MM61100 and the Proscan 52-inch PS52800 and 61-inch PS61800, which cost $3,299 to $3,799. In addition, Thomson Multimedia unveiled its RCA 36-inch MM36100 and Proscan 32-inch PS32800 and 36-inch PS36800 direct-view monitors, which cost $2,499 to $ 2,699.
