Both the S & P Futures and the Nasdaq Futures start trading at 4:45 Eastern time. They close at 9:15 Eastern time 15 minutes before the opening bell. The CME is using Chicago time so it looks a little funky.

There's a 30 minute break of trading between 4:15 Eastern and 4:45 Eastern. Apart from that, they trade 23 1/2 hours per day.

Hope this helps,

Rich

Hi Cobalt, long time no see. Family and new house OK?

The Merc times listed are central standard/daylight times, not eastern.
