yep. the BIG expiration was the ENORMOUS number of currency derivatives that expired 12/31/99... hence we've been falling ever since imo. the G-7 meeting is that weekedn after the expiration... i kinda think we may dump and bottom on that friday as everybody fears a repeat of 1987 and sells early (i believe the bradley turns on that fri) and instead the G-7 pulls out a rabbit (probably joint intervention to pound the yen down) and we get a huge rally that monday.. but the damage will have been done. the mania will have been destroyed and gold unleashed to roam w/ the big boys....
