Bill,

That is a very recent phenomenon and the VC's have gotten away with it because of the hot IPO market. Before this market got like this companies that were two rounds in without a product were very suspect...unless the second round was awarded for marketing a completed product. Today companies are getting 2 rounds while still designing a product and the VC's can do it because of their capital and the IPO market. I can assure you that, living here in silicon valley, far more companies go under that have two rounds of financing than those that make it. The VC's don't care because those that make it have been making them a killing at IPO.

The senior tech analyst from Robby Stephens was just on CNBC and he said that the problems were LU specific.
