Re: Don't these guys (Lehman) know what they're talking about?

Lehmann has a 2001 price target of $95 and EPS of $1.87.

For FY2000, however, they show $1.53. That is very doable. If LU comes in at 0.38 this
quarter, they are--guess what--a quarter of the way there. Lehman knows exactly what they are
talking about.

Also, keep in mind that 6 million shares have traded in after-hours. Somebody big is buying.

OC-192 demand later in the year, coupled with the changed quarterly revenue patterns, will
beat the $1.53 projection when the FY is said and done.

DJ,

Well, I'm sure your sentiments are shared by many and personally i think that's a healthy sign for the market. I can't say that I'm not disappointed too. I told myself I was going to take profits on Monday and when we rocketed out of the shoot I decided against it. So, I'm not sitting on the pile of cash that I'd hoped to have right now. Still the fundamentals haven't changed - technology will rock this year. Wait till things settle a bit and we'll all get on with it. No doubt though - this is a more prolonged sell-off then most of todays investors are used to.
