Hi Tom. What a day. I was out all afternoon so came back to discover carnage everywhere. If it continues I will just load up on some more leaps. But I have never seen my porfolio plummet so fast in 2 days.

I guess the standard stocks get a little boost now--news said that's what's happening in Nikkei: "Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei average opened firmer on Friday as traditional defensive stocks rose after gains in U.S. blue chips, while some high-tech stocks continued to fall in line with the Nasdaq." Well I guess the defensive stocks were doing so poorly they needed a shot in the arm. I just hope this thing doesn't get out of control. LU warning could be used in the wrong way--just as when Compaq screwed up mostly out of its own management problems and Dell's stealing business, the whole PC sector got trashed.

To everything, churn, churn, churn there is a season...

But QCOM, JDSU, etc, are still the high-growth, where the future is, and I'm glad I'm in them.
