If I may make a suggestion. Don't use stop losses in quality tech names when they go on sale. The correct strategy here is to place bids lower at reasonable intervals and hope you get hit enough to build an interesting position.

I've been watching the Lucent fiasco. Even though all tech may get hit as a result, don't think for a second that the fundamentals have changed. In about 3 days a whole lot of froth got whacked out of this market, and you're finally getting some good prices for the best merchandise.

The only time I use stop losses is in speculative no-earnings names.
