Jim, Anyone have list of tech stocks to buy at the bottom of this downdraft? I have a list but maybe there are some better ones
than the obvious ones. I think I'll dust the mold of the ole' cash I've been hoarding...

I'm pretty boring, like buy CSCO, EMC, CSCO, MSFT on dips. I did pick up some COVD (DSL) and SCOC (Unix) recently though.

Tony
Edit: Oh, BTW, where do you see a bottom?

Paul, Elmer, Jim, and Thread, RE: Anyone have list of tech stocks to buy at the bottom of this downdraft? I have a list"

Hi Jim, Good question. Anyone want to offer up some ideas? Please don't be shy. Jim, what's your tentative list?

Hi Paul & Elmer,
You're both excellent bottom-fish buyers. What's your opinion? For people who don't own INTC, MSFT, CSCO, this might become an opportunity to pick some up, however, for those who already own the Gorillas, I think it would take a lower price before it's attractive to buy even more:
My initial opinion is (without yet doing adequate research), for those who already own the Gorillas, INTC begins to look good again at $65-75, MSFT attractive when at $100, and CSCO is in a PE-land of its own.

As an FYI, it appears CSCO is down after hours:

Mark,

I hope you're right. CSCO is getting popped hard in afterhours in sympathy. Now trading 93 3/4 x 94 1/2. OUCHIES..
