Well, George, you must know that I idolize Penni, and strive to be as diplomatic and nonpolarizing as she is in her posts. I also realize I will never achieve that goal! I am not working towards polytheism, however, except in the wonderful Joseph Campbell spirit of understanding the world's religions in the context of universal symbols. If you are looking at it from that approach, we are all in some ways polytheists, because we have absorbed the universal myths into our hard wiring.
