It is happening already. At least in some of the chat rooms traders are talking about what they want to take into the "casino" (after hours market) I've mostly been watching, but confess to having been burned by a premarket buy of a stock I held for the regular session based on the prior day's after market activity. I have let a lot of opportunities go by, but have seen some spectacular moves. I don't know how long the gamblers will keep coming to the table in hopes of the getting in "early" for tomorrow's big pop on some news, but as long as they keep coming traders who get in before or just after the close of market are going to be making some easy money.
