Mikey: I agree. IPaq might be have a better look for the consumer market than EZ2000. But I suspect the EZ is one of those designs you have to use in order to appreciate. All the gadgets and add-ons will help. Perhaps its sui generis function-determined style will develop cultic status - like the Volkswagon Beetle.

I fail to see how people think it looks like a toaster, breadbox or art deco radio. It doesn't look like anything to me other than a component which has meaning only in some larger system - whether a control box, computer module, radiator/ionizor or a petrol (gas) can. At the end of the day it does not look like a toy or fashion accessory and I suspect that most "serious" users would prefer that.

Mikey-- maybe MCs wife has a interior decorator business. Someone is going to need to coordinate that color with wall covering, drapes, & etc. I agree with you, would look better under the desk than on it but it looks to be easy to service.
