I didn't quite understand what you said about your margin situation. If you're on margin, I would get off and stay off until things clear up.

If you're not margined, I would mostly ride it out. I liquidated a few very big gainers yesterday, but only a small part of my portfolio and only stocks that I was contemplating selling anyway. Going to cash reduces the exposure a bit until things clear out and gives me an opportunity to buy good stuff lower.

If you're not prepared to ride the downs as well as the ups, you shouldn't have money in the market.
