Looks like the nikkei is up, so are S&P futures. The Naz futures are down 35 or so, but on the Nikkei the techs seem to be bottoming out.

TOKYO, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Japanese stocks were moderately higher at midday on Friday due to
gains among banks, drugmakers and other defensive stocks, and as high-tech stocks started
bottoming out after falling sharply the past two days, traders said.

jhg take that RAMBUS away.

Late to market, expensive and HATED by their partners, oh yeah,
got to get me some of that. Oh wait, there's more, visible failure of
first PC product, doesn't scale for large servers and doesn't
help the latency issue at all. Too power wasteful to ever be used in
portable applications.

Take a look around, all we want is faster net access, and higher
bandwidth DRAM doesn't help at all.
