Stephen, lately futures have been useless. The employment data coming out at 8:30 am will give you a much better idea where the market is headed. The reception to the LU warning will also be telling. Look at GTW. It tanked in after-hours trading, only to revive in regular trading, because the warning is a supply problem, not a demand problem. This is even worse than the AAPL farce last year, and the complacency propped up the NAZ today until the last hour. If we see the same kind of denial of the LU warning, then we will have to wait until Monday for the gap down.
