As you noted, Going further out gives you a better premium - and it allows a little more time for Intel to weather any short term turbulence in the market.

Currently, the market is driven by panic and hysteria, especially by those unlucky souls who bought Qualcomm at $700+ pre split, CMGI at near $300, Yahoo at $475, and all the other Helium Inflated Get-Rich-Quick stocks.

This should all play out shortly, but the 4 months gives me some extra waiting time for some order of sanity to be restored.
