Semiconductor Industry Association Announces Worldwide Sales 1/6/2000 4:49:25 PM The Semiconductor Industry Association announced sales for the month of November 1999 that came in at $14.2 billion. This is an increase of 24.8 percent from a year ago. Wireless communications made a major impact to these figures, as memory product increased 74.2 percent year-to-date in 1999. PC and server demand helped semiconductor growth with DRAM increasing 47.6 percent year-to-date.
