Dale, inflection points are turns in the road where the same pattern no longer applies. If this is a simple "correction" then the buy the dip mentality works. However if its a top or sector rotation, perhaps coupled with undercurrents elsewhere in the market (don't forget interest rates have been trending up for 9 months, but stock prices seem to ignore this)......then the rules of the past may not apply.
I have my own feelings on this and while I don't believe the whole market is headed for the crapper, I frankly don't think this is another dip in the yellow brick road to prosperity for all.
