Tens,

re your $10/month wireline charges.

Don't forget the taxes and surcharges which total 4.28 on my last bill. There also are long-distance fixed charges which on my bill is 1.17, plus an additional 2.50 listed as UNIV SVC FD and PICC Charge.

These extra charges total $8.00 for me in NorCal.

I have no idea which of these charges are applicable for Cricket.

Difference is $12/month or thereabouts.

My LWIN friend Charlie,

During shareholders meeting, Harvey White was asked about
the size of the local calling area. HW said local calling
area(in Chattanooga) was similar to local calling area of
wired phone local calling area. If this model is applied in
other areas, then it is unlikely to cover all of Orange County, CA.

>Questions: has service in Australia begun?
LWIN sold this asset

>What cities in Chile has service been started?
"our Chilean operation did not re-launch as SMARTCOM PCS until late in November"
Chile is a relauch rather than starting from scratch, not exactly sure about what Chilean details are, but I believe a few
major cities contain the great majority of Chile's population.

>Do I have to purchase an expensive Qualcomm phone?
I am sure customers are given options other than purchasing
an expensive QCOM phone

>Would it be feasible to give phones out free as loss leaders?
According to LWIN management it's goals are to be low cost operator.
Loss leaders tend not to fit into this model, but I am sure
if it is shown to help to ramp up subscriber numbers very
quickly, then LWIN management will do it.
IMHO

sure is a nice day
Michael
