Bob,
Thanks for the info. He appears to have timed this release for maximum impact, considering the nervous market. A question; is this strike likely to be reacted to by other analyst who have substantially higher targets to "protect" their clients?

I can find no report - but must be right due to the price action.

Call me a gambler but I picked up 2 Feb 105 calls for 1 3/8.

A small bet for fun. Happy New Year!

Gist of it is that they have figured out that Yahoo's E- Bill initiative has been slower than they had expected and are projecting Checkfree's losses months ahead.

That's a key point to me, the unique visitor count is lower than Zandi's targets. These "targets" may or may not be in line with the internal targets set forth by YHOO and CKFR. You know those numbers and you know which way this thing is headed.

Got to admit I am a bit surprised that Media Metrix would agree to give out the kind of information that they did.

Yea... I remember the lehman bros. price target of $15 about a year ago when CKFR was in the $30s subsequently went to $107.

Yea... I remember when AOL had wild fluctuations a few years ago...still does but the stock is up a 67,000%

My opinion this Smith Barney call is in a word wreckless. I wonder what the buy out of this company would be from the likes of ORCL, INTC, or EDS. Leader in EBPP already hooked up with major banks and Portals...worth way more than the $75 per share its trading at.

I'm waiting for the EBAY pay anyone solution anouncement.

IMO SB wrong again. EBPP will be a killer Ap...things take time...wonder if SB has read the Killen report.

TL this is the chance youv'e waited for

Long and Strong
