GINA:

LPTHA

I believe all gaps have been filled. When this stock slid from the 11-12 area to $9, someone on the Yahoo thread pointed out it was related to redemption of the warrants. It seemed that shorts jumped all over it. I believe with this news, shorts are again jumping in. IMO, this will be shortlived.

LPTHA: LightPath doesn't release news on WHO their customers are. It stands to reason that companies like Lucent, JDS Uniphase, ETEK and Cisco are probably customers of LightPath and LightChip. Where else would they get their revenues?

And since the two brains of the sales/marketing department at LightPath were veterans of Lucent that left that big ship to jump in the Light Boat. . . it stands to reason that there is an attractive sales potential in LPTHA. . . . and if Lucent is NOT buying LPTHA products, then what sparked such interest in these Lucent sales/marketing men?

If you are a Mercedes salesman. . .you don't leave your job to sell Yugos. But in 1979, those salesmen that walked from their Oldsmobile dealerships to join up with Honda or Toyota were rewarded greatly!

So part of my confidence in the coming products of LightPath and LightChip connect to these 2 Lucent salesmen that jumped Lucent for LightPath. Could they have made a big mistake? Or did they get in on the ground floor of a major opportunity?

As for trading. . . it has been consolidating well at 19 - 20 . . making a nice base for further gains. It has come a long way for sure. . . but I don't think it will break down much before we get news. . . we are getting too many new investors each day.
