Elmer, That must be the most foolish statement I have ever seen from you Elmer(GTW prediction errors = management errors, it is contradicted by GTW, and even by Intel themselves!!!
Gateway did make a large management mistake. They trusted Intel and Intel betrayed them to their near doom.
It is funny that they predicted the cases, power supplies, and all the other parts correctly as you will see from the extra of those they have on hand.
So you think GTW are 'snake bit, and doomed to die'?
snake bit by Intel, that is.
GTW will never make that error again. AMD will get a lot of their future market. Others look-see and they will not let that happen again.
This series of errors by Intel, what with Rambus, 820, P-III shortages is the worst own foot shooting I have ever seen a company do.
AMD only shot itself in one foot at a time. Intel shot both feet and the kneecaps too.
These errors will have follow on echoes for years....all to the benefit of AMD...unless they start foot shooting again.
