re: "DRBES 01-02-00 SI $0.44"

This entry is really, to my best recollection, about a month and a half old. Please revise the date to 11/99, if you can. It is not the result of careful analysis; it is the result of what I call "scoping studies", a deliberately different approach that yields wildly different results from traditional analysis, frequently it very inaccurate but often closer to correct than traditional analysis when some wild changes are under way that thwart the traditional approach.

BTW, the "lemmings" or "penguins" appear to know nothing of this approach.

Regards,

DARBES

Re: AMD EPS Contest - Q4 - 99

I don't have an AMD position (long or short), but I enjoy and appreciate you gathering this information. What's interesting to me is that the investor concensus of $0.26 is considerably higher than the analyst concensus of -$0.07. Expectations of investors drives the whisper number, and we all know what missing the whisper number can do to a stock (especially one that has almost doubled in the past several months).

Thanks for the nice work.
