As I look at Object Store (if you are referring to the same product from Object Design, Inc.) it appears to be more oriented towards the storage and retrieval of objects ... a "next generation" object database. IMHO, there will be a convergence of this type of technology with "object routers" like ICS and BorderManager ... overall they are very complimentary. The more that I think about it, there is some overlap and it will be interesting to see which way the overlap grows ... that Object Routers become more Object Servers also ... or that Object Servers continue to enhance their caching and distributed operation, becoming more like Object Routers ...
