Joey, This reminds me of the infamous DEC public attack on Intel a few years back. DEC blaming Intel of stealing their technology
& Palmer even had the gall of taking space out in the WSJ to get the message out: the reason we are performing badly is
because others are stealing our superior technology...If I remember correctly, Intel's stock took a short-term hit. Anyone know
what ever happened to DEC?


DEC is still the ostrich egg in the throat of the snake that swallowed them. Palmer went to work for AMD, didn't he?

Intel did do a pretty large settlement with DEC though. Getting StrongArm and the Hudson MA plant from DEC might have been worth it after all. I don't know.

And the "Gentleman" responsible for all this - Robert Palmer - is now a cushy Board Member of Advanced Micro Devices !!
