Captain and NW: I thought McGinn - the LU CEO - was a lot prompter, clearer and franker on CNBC this morning than the COMPAQ Chairman/CE0 were when faced with similar developments in COMPAQ. In essence McGinn said, we have beaten expectations every quarter, in the three years we have been a public company. We fouled up this quarter. The reasons is that we, the management, made a mistake. We did not read market demand and trends properly and did not prepare the company or the market. We think we can make it up, somewhat.
