Lola,

Regulatory authorities oblige a company to put out such a press release in certain circumstances:

At the request of the TSE, the company would like to report that there has been
no corporate developments to account for the recent activity in the company's
shares. In a recent press release, the company reported that it had received an
extension under its Companies Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings. The
Ontario Superior Court of Justice extended the stay of proceedings to June 30,
2000. The court also extended to March 31, 2000, the date by which the
company must file a plan of arrangement.
