D. Taylor,

I got out too. I was resigned to the fact that I was gonna lose my shirt on YHOO. But the gods smiled on me and i was able to get out with a 10 point loss...as opposed to 60 point loss like I was anticipating!!
BTW, you will make *many* more mistakes....sometimes the same ones over and over again!
Trust me on that :-))

D. -- so what's next? I have my fingers crossed for a move up that carries through most, or all, of this week. I think the Fed will go in February and the market will gyrate till then -- creating some opportunity. My personal view is that there will be suprising strength in some sectors of economy and some suprising weakness -- tech looks to weaken with the exception of some possible run-ups before earnings, IMO, and materials and wages could be too hot. If this is the picture come mid-February -- look out below. Last weeks nervousness is a taste of what could be in store for us soon.

D. <. Experience is a great teacher...........> At a meeting last year I heard a good line - "a successful man was once asked how he could explain his fabulous success -- to which he answered "good judgement". He was then asked what accounted for his good judgement -- to which he replied after some thought -- "experience". He was then asked what accounted for his experience and he thought for a moment and said -- "bad judgement".
