hey gary,

"But Rssn...given the market - why aren't we participating."

i think one needs only to look at yesterday's performance (naz down huge, COMS up) and today's performance (naz up, COMS down a bit) to balance that out.

in other words, where were you with this statement about participation yesterday?

:)

EB just appeared on CNN. I missed his CNBC appearance the other day, so I have no basis to compare. Obviously, he is not a charismatic personality, but just as obviously he is intelligent and well spoken. (JMHO, minority though it may be.)

Regarding the Palm spin-off timing, he said "several weeks" and seemed to imply that it depended on SEC approval of COMS' recent filing.

Nothing much else of substance: said that COMS has an advantage viz. CSCO in the consumer products area because of their expertize and experience. Mentioned home networking products in particular.

FWIT I am treating COMS' present price as a hiatus or pause in an upward trend... and an opportunity to bring my holdings back to its level just before the earnings disappointment. Other than COMS (and MRVC and PAIR) I don't see much value in tech and have moved to oil service, precious metals andbasic industry.
